THE BEST...
"BOKU DAKE GA INAI MACHI" (Erased)
The mystery in this story just pulls you in the anime. Check it out if you like thrillers mixed with some supernatural elements.
MOST FAVORITE
"HAI TO GENSOU NO GRIMGAR" (GRIMGAR OF FANTASY AND ASH)
Check this out if you like fantasy shows blended with realistic slice-of-life elements!
MOST UNDERRATED
"SHOUWA GENROKU RAKUGO SHINJUU"
A really sweet and realistic story about friendship made through one's passion towards keeping one of Japan's traditional way of storytelling alive.

"RE:ZERO KARA HAJIMERU ISEKAI SEIKATSU"
Check this show out if you're into suspense, fantasy and is looking for a really great adventure

"KIZNAIVER"
One of my favorite shows released last year! Go check it out if you're into anime shows revolving around sharing pain & friendship blended with a touch of sci-fi elements!
MOST UNDERRATED
"SHOUNEN MAID"
Another one of those shows I ABSOLUTELY adored from last year. This show truly is underrated and it definitely needed more attention than what it has got so far. Try this one out if you're looking for a cute light-hearted show perfectly mixed with comedy PLUS a pinch of feels.

"91 DAYS"
MOST FAVORITE
"KUROMUKURO"
Looking for a nice mecha anime with a pretty decent pace perfectly mashed with right amounts of light-heartedness and seriousness? Look no further and try this one out. One of my favorites as well! Really underrated. The theme may be reminiscent of NGE by the way: invaders from space try to take over/destroy planet Earth but the show plays around with the concept pretty nicely that you won't pretty much mistake them as two similar things! PLUS this one has a samurai AND has little-to-no psychological aspects.
MOST UNDERRATED
"NEJIMAKI SEIREI SENKI: TENKYOU NO ALDERAMIN" (Alderamin on the Sky)
Looking for a really interesting military show that involves a lazy male lead? Try this one out! This was a really brilliant show that was overlooked by many. I need a season 2 of this!

FALL 2016
THE BEST...
"BUNGOU STRAY DOGS SEASON 2"
Dude, just watch this show! Season 1 was okay but season 2 literally stepped it's game up by a thousand! Really really brilliant, I must say. Looking for a funny anime surrounding a group of detectives, whose names are based on Japanese (and some foreign) writers, with superpowers? Give this one a shot and I'm pretty sure season 2 will make you fall in love with this anime, if not the first season!
MOST FAVORITE
"YURI!!! ON ICE"
The characters in this show are ALL LOVEABLE! If you're looking for a nice endearing story of a failure's attempt to redeem himself, you better check this out. One of the best features of this show is it's characters. PLUS if you're a fujoshi (or a fudanshi just like me), I'm sure you'll love this!
MOST UNDERRATED
"FUNE WO AMU"
Gaaah! This show is truly a hidden gem in the fall season! If you're looking for an anime with a really fresh concept (editors trying to publish a new dictionary) done with a realistic approach, you should check this show out. Every episode was so captivating. This show actually made me feel like buying myself a new dictionary and treasuring it!
